Olive F. Jordan Long was born May 20, 1895, in Pleasantville. She died June 29 in Indianola.

Funeral services for Mrs. Long were held July 2 at the Overton Funeral Home with the Rev. James Patrick officiating. Interment was in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

She married Burl Long Feb. 22, 1928, and they moved to Indianola. She was a member of the Indianola Rebekah Lodge No. 111 and the Chapel of Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl, in 1973; her parents; two brothers, Roy and Arch; and three sisters, Hattie Runyan, Ada Spurgin and Jessie Marsh.

Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Funeral services for Olive F. Long, 88, 207 North Jefferson, will be held Saturday, July 2 at 2 p.m. at the Overton Funeral Home. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mrs. Long died Wednesday of an apparent heart attack at the office of a local dentist.
Born in Pleasantville, she had lived in Indianola since 1928, following her marriage to Burl Long. She was a member of the Indianola Rebekah Lodge No. 111 and the Chapel of Faith.
Surviving are one son, John Long, and two grandsons, all of Indianola.
She was preceded in death by her husband. The family suggests that memorials go to the Chapel of Faith.
