Juanita R. Jacobs, 87, of Indianola died of a stroke Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Services were held Dec. 22 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lacona, of which she was a member, with burial at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jacobs was born in Avery and had lived in Lacona most of her life. She was a retired branch manager with Peoples Trust & Savings Bank in Lacona. She was a member of American Legion Auxillary and Lacona Bridge Club. She enjoyed crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.

Survivors include a daughter, Norma Jean Miller of Lacona; a son, Ronald of Munster, Ind.; a brother, Alan Jacoby of West Des Moines; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mosher Funeral Home in Lacona handled arrangements.

Juanita R. Jacobs, 87, of the Good Samaritan Center in Indianola died of a stroke there Monday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lacona, of which she was a member, with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery there.
