James "Jake" Michael Jacobs, 78, of Del City, Okla., died Tuesday, May 16, 1995, of a heart ailment there. Services were held May 19 at the Bill Eisenhouer Southeast Chapel in Del City, with burial at Kuhlman Cemetery on Tinker Air Force Base.

Mr. Jacobs was born in Lacona. He retired after 27 years with Continental Baking Co. and was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Bill and Bob, both of Oklahoma; three sisters, Velda Samuelson of West Des Moines. Anna Maye Pederson of Ankeny and Frances Hoffman of Lacona; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
