Edna Frances Caviness, 85, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held June 15 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Mrs. Caviness was born in Liberty Center and had lived in Warren County all her life. She had worked for Look magazine in Des Moines and Burchett Jewelry in Indianola before retiring. She was a member of Chapel of Faith Church in Indianola and Indianola Senior Citizens Center music group, The Senior Music Makers. She enjoyed country music and her dog.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Milo Public Library.
