Services for Charles Richard Jacobs, 59, of Lacona, who died Friday at Des Moines General Hospital of cancer, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St Mary's Catholic Church in Lacona. Burial will be at St Mary's Cemetery.

Mr. Jacobs was a lifelong resident of Lacona. He was an employee of Co-op Elevator Company. Mr. Jacobs was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Eagles Club, Lacona Volunteer Fire Department, American Legion and V.F.W., and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; two sons, Richard and Ryan of Lacona; three daughters, Raylene Stoutner of Milo, Rhonda Brewer of Indianola and Renee Jacobs of Lacona; three brothers, Bob of Lacona, Marvin of Ankeny and Jim of Porum, Okla.; three sisters, Velda Samuelson of West Des Moines, Anna Maye Pederson of Ankeny and Francis Hoffman of Lacona; and six grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Mosher Funeral Home. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. today at the funeral home.
