Echo LaVaughn Jordan, 78, of Pleasantville died of an apparent heart attack Wednesday, March 23, 1994, at home. Services were held March 25 at Mason Funeral Home, with burial at Lincoln Cemetery near Knoxville.

Mrs. Jordan, a homemaker, was born in Marion County and lived in the Pleasantville area most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Pleasantville.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer; two sons, John of Knoxville and James of Brighton; a daughter, Frances Milledge of Knoxville; a sister, Oma Ellsworth of Grinnell; and nine grandchildren.
