Earl William Hukill, 74, retired farmer, died late Thursday afternoon at the Jefferson Home following a long illness.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Overton Funeral Home with interment in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
He had lived the past 27 years on a farm 2 miles west of Center Chapel United Methodist Church, and prior to that had lived near Milo.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the American Legion and of Center Chapel Church.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; a daughter, Mrs. Roland Amos of near Martensdale; and a son, Earl D. Hukill, who also lives west of Center Chapel; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Guy Shoemaker of Milo.
