Obituary from The Lexington Nebraska Sentinel newspaper, date unknown:

Florence Josephine Frank was born in Peoria county, Illinois, May 3, 1865. She moved with her parents to a farm near Liberty Center, Iowa, in 1876 where she resided till her marriage to R. F. Savin, on March 14, 1888.

In the spring of 1888 she moved with her husband to his farm, 13 miles north and 2 miles west of Cozad, Neb., after which they moved to their present home, 5 miles northeast of Lexington, where she resided until her death on December 2, 1929, being 64 years, 6 months and 29 days of age. To this union were born four children: Elmer, John, William and Frances and all have preceded her in death except John, who is living on the home place. She leaves to mourn, her husband, a son and three grandchildren, Alma, Richard and Joy, two brothers, A.A. Frank, of Milo, Iowa and Everett Frank of Lacona, Iowa, a sister Mrs. Buford Parker of Westhope, N.D., and a host of friends and relatives.

She was a member of the Methodist church from her youth and took an active part in all departments of the church, filling many offices in it during her membership. Funeral services were held at Mt. Hope by Rev. Olsen, of Overton, on December 5th, 1929. Interment at Mt. Hope cemetery.
