Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 3-4-1988:

Beryl Amber Burchett, 69, of Indianola died of cancer Thursday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Peterson Funeral Home here, with burial in Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Burchett was born in Lacona and lived in Indianola since 1941. She was the owner of Beryl's Beauty Shop here.

Surviving are her husband, Dale; two daughters, Carna Miller and Marla Roush, and a son, Ron, all of Indianola; three brothers, Kenneth Borchert of Janesville, Wis., Lloyd Borchert of Indianola and John Borchert of Stafford, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
