Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 12-26-1990:

Audrey Marie Hartz, 60, of Newton died of cancer Thursday, Dec. 20, 1990, at Skiff Medical Center. Services were held Monday, Dec. 24, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Newton, of which she was a member. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery in Lacona.

Mrs. Hartz was born in Lacona and moved to Newton in 1951. She worked at the Willis Adult Day Care Center and Peck Child Care Center.

Survivors include her husband, Earl; two sons, Vernon of Tucson, Ariz., and Myron of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; Seven brothers, Leland Borchert of Newton, Paul Borchert of Altoona, Glen Borchert of Knoxville, Marvin Borchert of Des Moines, Henry Borchert of Rock Creek, Edgar Borchert of Lacona and Larry Borchert of Indianola; five sisters, Gloria DeWitt of Russell, Grace Hartz of Newton, Joan Breese of Knoxville and Myrtle Smith and Ilene Borchert, both of Des Moines; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Norwalk. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or her church.
