Lucy E. Heinen, 93, of Milo died of complications of diabetes Monday, Oct. 5, 1992, at Mercy Skilled Care Facility in Des Moines. Services were held Oct. 9 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with burial at Belmont Cemetery.

Mrs. Heinen, a homemaker, was born in Melrose and lived in Milo most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George.

Survivors include three sons, Frederick of Milo and Joseph and Michael, both of Des Moines; six daughters, Agnes Heinen of Milo, Madonna Baker of Creston, Delores Young of Norwalk, Patricia Miller of Stuart, Barbara Haas of Columbia, Ill., and Maureen Dinkel of Henderson, Nev.; two sisters, Agnes Sheperd of Ottumwa and Winifred Sinnott of Albia; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Mosher Funeral Home handled arrangements.
