Services for Mrs. Helen Rose Gavin, 61, of St. Marys will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Marys Cemetery.

Mrs. Gavin died Sunday night at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, following a long illness.

A St. Marys resident most of her life, she was a member of the St. Marys Community Club, Altar and Rosary Society at St. Marys and the Third Order of St. Francis at Winterset.

She is survived by eight sons, Don Gavin of St. Charles, Dale, James, Robert, Joseph, Frank and David Gavin, all of St. Marys, and Dr. Bernard Gavin of Wellsburg; 27 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Anna Wilgenbusch of St. Marys; one sister, Mrs. Irene Croat of Indianola; three brothers, Milton Wilgenbusch of Bethel Island, Calif., Thomas and Ernest Wilgenbusch of St. Marys.

Rosary services will be at the Peterson Funeral Home tonight at 8 o'clock, and at the St. Marys Parish Hall Tuesday at 8 p.m.
