Services for Denny Bill Blackford, 29, of 301 S.E. Hart Ave., who died early Friday in a fire at his home, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Southtown Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Norwalk cemetery.

Mr. Blackford was born in Indianola and had lived in Des Moines 23 years. A construction foreman for Commercial Builders, he was a member of Local 67 of the Iron Workers Union.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy; a daughter, Tina, at home; a son, Denny, at home; two brothers, Kenneth and Randy of Des Moines; four sisters, Linda McDermmit and Vicky Breese of Des Moines, Marilyn Anderson of Greenfield, and Saundra Acri of Norwalk; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Blackford of Indianola; and a grandmother, Thelma Hill of Indianola.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 9 p.m. today.
