Services for Donald Floyd Blackford, 89, who died Sunday, November 16 at Indianola Good Samaritan Center in Indianola, will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 20 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with visitation prior to services starting at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in the Norwalk Cemetery.

Donald was a life long farmer. He is survived by two sons, Jerry of Des Moines and Tom (Shirley) of Norwalk; two grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Johnson of Indianola and brother, Leslie "Sam" Blackford of Norwalk. He was preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Ruth Blackford; wife, Roine; brother, John; and sister, Vera Riley.
