Marcella B. "Sally" Bishop, 78, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Saturday, Oct. 17, 1998, at Decatur County Hospital in Leon. Services were held Oct. 19 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola with burial at IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs. Bishop was born in Wright, Minn., and lived in Indianola most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by three daughters, Loretta Miller of Van Wert and Leona Reetz and Peggy Kellow, both of Indianola; two sons, Garrett McNeeley of Des Moines and Gerold Bishop of Indianola; five sisters, Velma Bishop of Indianola, Betty Cooper of Buckeye, Ariz., Patty Hess of Norwalk, Mary Lou Ripplinger of California and Roberta Nealey of Waterloo; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
