Obituary from an unknown newspaper, date unknown, photographed from an Obituary Book at the City Library in Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA:

Grace A., daughter of Henry and Frances Hayden Anderson, was born on a farm near Liberty Center, Warren County, Aug. 27, 1873. In this community she lived all of her life. She died at her home south of Liberty Center on Feb. 15, 1954, at the age of 80 years, 6 months and two days.

She suffered a stroke Aug. 21, 1953, and was cared for at home by her children. She had lived in this same home 54 years.

On March 4, 1891, she was united in marriage to John L. Woodyard. To this union were born seven children, all of whom survive. They are: Mrs. Lou Lester, Merle, Dewey, Mrs. Olive Puderbaugh, Laurel, Frank and Floy. All are living in a radius of 5 miles of the home place.

She also is survived by seven grandchildren: Dean, Bill and Sheryl Woodyard, Mrs. Doris Ann Garrison, Harold Puderbaugh, Loren Lester and Mrs. Ruth Allison; and six great-grandchildren: Shirley Ann and Michael Garrison, Tracey Ann Woodyard, Gary Lester, Rita Puderbaugh and Wanda Grace Allison.

She was a member of the Friends church. She was of a family of 13 children; four brothers and three sisters are living in California. Four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Farewell, dear mother----'twill not be long.
Your work is done, now may peace rest with thee.
Your kindly thoughts and deeds---
This is not death---'tis immortality.
