Doris Fears Weeks, 83, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Monday at Westview Care Center. Services are at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Peterson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.

Mrs. Weeks, a homemaker, was born in Des Moines and moved to Indianola in 1935. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary.

Among survivors are five daughters, Pauline Little of Cherokee, Louise Treanor of Indianola, Alice Brown of Pleasantville, Esther Phillips of Sandyville and Anna Harvey of Osceola; two sons, John of Wilson, Okla., and Paul of Coraopolis, Pa.; a brother, Vern Anderson of Des Moines; 25 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chapel of Faith building fund.
