Donald LeeRoy Alexander, 58, of Indianola died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Monday, March 13, 1995, at home. Services were held March 16 at Overton Funeral Home, with burial at Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Mr. Alexander was born at Spring Hill and had lived in Indianola since 1968. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Chapel of Faith Church in Indianola and the Teamsters.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; three sons, Jeff and Kevin, both of Indianola, and Dan of Norwalk; a brother, Francis of Polk City; a sister, Marilyn Bauer of Indianola; and two grandchildren.
