Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 3-20-2011:

A Celebration of Life Service for Elnora Nagel, 89, will be Monday, March 21, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the New Hope United Methodist Church in Melcher. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas. Burial at the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the New Hope United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made to www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com .

A Memorial Service will be held at the Scottish Rite Park at a later date.

Elnora passed away March 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville; parents: Herman and Mabel Ahrens; and siblings: Helen Johnson, Milo Ahrens, and Kenneth Ahrens. She is survived by her children: David (Carolyn) Nagel of West Des Moines, Diane (Joe) Dollison of Polk City, Michael (Linda) Nagel of Barnard, MO, and Gary (Gwendolyn) Nagel of Urbandale; eight grandchildren: Danette Dollison-Johnson (Mark) Johnson, Mara (Jed) Edler, Doug (Amy) Dollison, Tiffany (John) Spinner, Miranda (Quazi) Jahangir, Ben (Kori) Nagel, Andrew Nagel, and Johanna Nagel; 14 great- grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
