Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 4-12-1991:

Marvin F. Greubel, 74, of Milo died of cancer Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustin Catholic Church. Burial will be in Belmont Cemetery.

Mr. Greubel, a lifelong Milo resident, retired as a dispatcher for Bellwood Construction in Indianola and was a member of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; three sons, Jerry of Milo, John of Carlisle and James of Des Moines; two daughters, Rosemary Grubb of Clive and Norma Croat of Noblesville, Ind.; his mother, Mary Greubel of Milo; two brothers, Albert of Milo and Fred of East Moline, Ill.; three sisters, Lorraine VanderLinden of Milo and Marjorie Harkin and Mary Jean DeMarre, both of St. Paul, Minn.; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Mosher Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church, where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m.
