Clair Ellsworth Fenimore, 88, of Peru died from complications of a stroke Friday in Tucson, Ariz. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church in Peru, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Peru Cemetery.

Mr. Fenimore, a retired farmer, was a lifelong resident of the Peru area, wintering in Tucson the last 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Janet Gaspari of Tucson; two sons, James of Springfield, Ill., and Charles of Phoenix; a sister, Flossie Herwehe of Norwalk; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
