Funeral services for Veronica Agnes Bauer, 89, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, at the St. Marys Catholic Church in Lacona. Interment will be at the St. Marys Cemetery.

Mrs. Bauer died Saturday at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center.

She was a lifelong Lacona resident and moved to the Good Samaritan Center several months ago.

She is survived by a son, Norbert Bauer of Lacona; three daughters, Marjorie Jacobs of Lacona, Louise Schneider of Des Moines, and Geneva Galeazzi of Melcher; a brother, Tony Schaefer of Lacona; two sisters, Anna Konrad of Lacona, and Laura Wachter of Milo; 29 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

A rosary service will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the Mosher Funeral Home in Lacona.
