Earl Marvin "Bub" Bowlin, 73, of Des Moines died of a heart ailment Thursday, April 27, 2000, at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services were held May 2 at Peterson Funeral Home, with burial at Sandyville Cemetery.
Mr. Bowlin was born in Warren County and had lived in Des Moines 50 years.
He was a retired truck driver with Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Marvin of St. Louis and Greg of Des Moines; a brother, Gabe Jr. of Maxwell; and six grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh House.
