Obituary from The Valley Chronicle newspaper, Hemet, Riverside County, California, USA on 6-19-2009:

Donald R. Bowlin, 73, of Hemet, died June 13, 2009, at Hemet Valley Medical Center.

A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. today, June 19, at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Bowlin, who was born in Iowa, lived in Hemet five years. He was a pastor for Grace Brethren churches in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Iowa, New Mexico, and Norwalk for 33 years. He also was a chaplain at Ramona Manor in Hemet for three years.

He enjoyed Bible teaching and playing golf and bowling.

Mr. Bowlin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Glenna; two sons, Steven, of Arizona, and Philip, of San Diego; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Sherry Jones and Joan Alexander, both of Iowa.
