Funeral services for Grace Lanorra Wood, 93, who died Friday, November 12, 2004, at the Regency Care Center in Norwalk, will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, at the Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will be in the Webb Cemetery near Spring Hill.

Born in South Dakota, Grace had been a resident of the Regency Care Center for three years. A farm homemaker, she previously had resided on a farm near Spring Hill for most of her adult life prior to moving to Indianola for five years. She was a member of the Linn Grove United Methodist Church.

She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, William and Marylyn of Norwalk, Glenn and Marsha of Winigan, Missouri, Bob and Vicki of Dayton, Wyoming, Howard and Linda of Earlville, Iowa, and Henry and Jan of Urbandale; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Ray Wilkins of Branson, Missouri, and Zelda and Doug Dyer and Carolyn and Mark Harkin, both of Indianola; one sister, Effie Baker of Bussey, Iowa; 33 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 33 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Jim, a daughter Rosemary Jones, and a son-in-law, Stanley Jones.

Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. on Monday, November 15, at Overton Funeral Home where the family will be present to greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be designated to her church.
