Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 2-27-2011:

Madonna Wyone Taylor, passed away February 22, 2011 at Capital Hospice in Arlington, Virginia. She had lived in the town of her daughter for the last three plus years. She and her husband Merrill had been long time Indianola residents.

Preceding in death were her parents John and Magolia Wheeler; husband Merrill in 2000; daughter Joan Wyone Taylor; granddaughter Jaime Sax; and two brothers John and Elihu Wheeler. Surviving is her daughter Dianne(Steven) Sax of Centreville, Virginia; granddaughter Misty Anne Sax of Glen burnie, Maryland and sister Ella Miller of Indianola.

Visitation hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday February 28, 2011 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Indianola I.O.O.F.
