Vincent Lester Dittmer, 61, of Milo died of an apparent heart attack Monday, June 23, 1997, at his home. Services were held June 27 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Rosemount, with burial at the church cemetery.

Mr. Dittmer was born near Lacona and was a longtime resident of the Milo area. He was a self-employed construction contractor and a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include four sisters, Mary Ann Gary of Des Moines, Hilda Schaffer of Weldon, Norma Gotta of Romeo, Mich., and June Rouse of Indianola; and three brothers, Melvin of Indianola, Donald of Williamson and Carl of Sandyville.

Mosher Funeral Home in Milo handled arrangements.

Vincent Dittmer, 61, of Milo died of a heart attack Monday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Rosemount, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Mosher Funeral Home in Milo, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m., and a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.
