Services for Marvin E. Baughman 78, who passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012, after a two year battle with cancer will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 28 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial with military rights will follow in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Marvin was born October 5, 1933 the son of Howard and Edna (Feight) Baughman. He was united in marriage to Norma Lee Hutchison on May 5, 1957. He retired as an insurance adjuster for Allied Insurance in Des Moines.

He is survived by his wife Norma Baughman; children, Doug (Lisa), Kent (Tina) and Michele Baughman; three brothers and four sisters; three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; two sisters; one son-in law.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 27 at Overton Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfunerals.com .
