Services for Geraldine "Gerry" Putney, 72, who died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines, will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 18 at the First Baptist Church in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Gerry leaves to mourn her passing daughters, Judy (Jon) Allison of Milo and Vicki (Dave) Felton of Indianola; grandchildren, Jill (Nate) Fredricks and Joel Allison of Milo, and D.C. Felton and Ra Chell Felton of Indianola; great-granddaughters, Saide and Suzi Fredricks of Milo; brothers, Marvin (Cherie) and Charles (Connie) Morris; sisters, Toni German, Helen German, Deloris (Don) Reasoner.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 17 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with family present from 5 to 8 p.m. to greet friends. Memorials may be given to Bright Kavanagh House or the First Baptist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfunerals.com .
