Betty Jean Cooper, 83, died May 9, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Raymond E Cooper; her children, Pam (Karl) Bachof, Cathi (Bing) Hagen, Melody (Greg) Allsup, Robert (Brenda) Cooper, Alice Cooper Brita and Roger (Teri) Cooper; a sister, Mary Lou (Jack) Repplinger; sisters-in-law, Elma Sparks and Louise Moore; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond E. Cooper, Jr.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 14 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Webb Cemetery, rural Norwalk. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, May 13 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfunerals.com .
