Nettie Pauline Ripperger, 72, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2004 At Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 12 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with the Rev. John W. Long officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery

Mrs. Ripperger was born August 25, 1931 in Indianola where she had lived all her life. She was a 1949 graduate of Indianola High School and worked for 17 years for Pamida, retiring in 1988.

She is survived by her son, Danial (Peggy) Ripperger of St. Cloud, MN; daughters, Terri (Jerome) Stewart of Des Moines, Robin Cooley of Pontiac, IL, and Sue (Larry) Bryan of Styart; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 1993.

Visitation with family present will be held Sunday, April 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions be designated to the Animal Lifeline of Iowa in Carlisle.
