Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 6-21-2001:

Margaret Ann Frueh, 69, of the 3400 block of East 26th Street died Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital of complications of surgery. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Saints John and Paul Catholic Church in Altoona, of which she was a member, Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Frueh was born in New Virginia and had lived in the Des Moines area most of her life. She was a homemaker, a school bus driver and a bookkeeper with Iowa Des Moines National Bank before retiring. She was a member of Heritage Wellness Center and enjoyed her cats.

She is survived by her husband, Earl; two daughters, Lori Frueh of Des Moines and Trude Kyle of Mitchellville; four brothers, Roger Haines of Runnells and James Haines, Richard Haines and Larry Haines, all of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Brooks Funeral Care. Visitation will continue from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
