Albert O. Henson, the son of Stephen and Myrtle (Kirlin) Henson, was born Nov. 13, 1913, in Rutland, ND, and died Dec. 27, 1985, at Des Moines General Hospital in Des Moines at the age of 72 years.

He attended St. Marys Consolidated School.

On Jan. 7, 1937, he was united in marriage to Ruth Strable. To this union were born one son, Larry, and three daughters, Alberta, Kathy, and Betty.

Albert lived, farmed, and did custom work in the St. Marys area until he retired in 1983.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Martensdale and of the Madison-Warren County Ministerial Association. He served on the St. Marys school board and the Warren County Extension Service and various other boards and committees.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen, and his mother, Myrtle.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; his son, Larry of Martensdale; three daughters, Alberta Seymour, Betty Emehiser, both of Prole, and Kathy Wildin of Winterset; three sisters, Marvel Loomis of New Virginia, Mary Mae Hommer and Geneva Hoover, both of Indianola; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services conducted by Pastor Robert Boudewyns were held Monday, Dec. 30, 1985, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Martensdale. Interment was in the St. Marys Cemetery.
