On Saturday occurred the funeral of Mrs. G. H. Bascom, who died at her home four miles east of St. Charles, on Friday morning. She was a noble wife and mother, and leaves bereft by her death a husband and five young children to whom her loss is irreparable. Her remains are at rest near those of her first husband, Mr. Stonehocker, their only child, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Neal, and her brother, Wm. Neal.
