MRS. CLARA STROUD Dies At 82 Years

Mrs. Clara Nellie Stroud of Prole died at her home there Thursday, Feb. 12, 1959, at the age of 82 years.

Mrs. Stroud was the former Clara Nellie Finch, daughter of James and Irene Finch, and was born in Des Moines, Sept. 17, 1876. She was married May 1, 1906 to Pearl Stroud, who survives her.

In addition to her husband, she leaves four sons, Harvey, Hugh, Herbert and Maurice; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Strable; 13 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Arrilla Harvey of Indianola, Mrs. Grace Bumgardner of Knoxville, and Mrs. Eva Cellan and Mrs. Katherine Rhodes of St. Charles.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Martensdale Community church, conducted by the Rev. Virgil Bunjer. Burial was made in the Wallace cemetery at Wick.
