VADIS SHETTERLY
Hartford

Vadis Shetterly, 86, of Hartford died of a lung ailment Saturday at Carlisle Care Center. Services will be at 10:30 Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home in Carisle, with burial at Hartford Cemetery in Hartford.

Mrs. Shetterly was born in Decatur county and had lived in the Hartford area most of her life. She had been a keypunch operator with the state of Iowa and a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Community United Presbyterian Church in Hartford.

She is survived by three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hartford Fire Rescue or her church.
