Sam H. Shetterly 71, of Hartford died of a heart ailment Friday at Des Moines General Hospital.Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Burial will be in Hartford Cemetery.
Mr. Shetterly was a lifelong resident of Hartford and was retired as a mechanic for Hein Lawn Mower in Des Moines. He was a member of Community United Presbyterian Church here and Hartford Masonic Lodge No.83.
Survivors include his wife, Vadis, a son, Dean of Hartford, a brother, Myron of Carlisle, three grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
Friends may call after 9 a. m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today
