Thomas N. Knouse, 62, of Indianola died of heart disease Tuesday at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Overton Funeral Home, with burial at IOOF Cemetery.

Mr. Knouse lived in Indianola all of his life and worked for Armstrong Tire Co. in Des Moines for 26 years before retiring in 1993. He was an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; a son, Dwaine of Owatonna, Minn.; a daughter, Jolene Crouse of Pleansantville; two brothers, Ted of Indianola and Rodger of Houston; and three sisters, June Ward of Indianola, Sherry Zenor of Winterset and Joyce Barg of Ruthven.

Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Warren County Christian School.
