WARREN COUNTY TRIPLE ALLIANCE CANDIDATES
James H. McGranahan, nominee for Treasurer, is probably as well and as favorably known as any man of this age in Warren county. Raised on his father’s farm in sight of Indianola and educated here, his boyhood was well known as that of an honest, industrious farmer boy. After completing his course of education he worked a number of years for Eikenberry & Co. at Milo, but for the last 15 years has been in business in Indianola, first for Eikenberry & Co. and then as one of the proprietors in the grocery firm of Dyke & McGranahan. It is the good fortune of comparatively few men in business as long as Jimmy McGranahan has been in business in Warren county and with as extensive a business acquaintance as he has had, to escape the displeasure of every body as he has done, and win as warm a place in the hearts of all with whom he has dwelt as he has won. His personality is a strong element in his candidacy. He is a popular candidate with all classes. Everybody realizes that he is the right material for a model treasurer. We believe that even those who vote against him will rejoice to see him elected.
