From February 14th to April 18th, 1918, the Advocate-Tribune newspapers, Indianola, Iowa, included caricatures on the front page entitled “Indianola People You Know” with little bodies, big heads, and tiny images around each person recounting their lives.

He’s the Chevrolet Dealer; in automobile business since 1912 – sold Ford cars in 1912 and 1913. Located in Indianola Feb 1917 and since that time he has sold 138 Chevrolet cars in Warren County. The firm of Polson & Son carry one of the largest stocks to be found in a county seat – 40 cars now in stock….Born and raised on a farm in Marion County, IA… He was engaged in the buggy and harness business eight years, engaged in general mercantile business 2 ½ years. He’s a fan of baseball and likes fishing at Lake Okoboji.
