CLYDE BROWN SANDY
Clyde B. Sandy, well-known farmer, lives at Sandyville. He was born Jan. 21, 1882, a son of William T. and Mary I. (Brown) Sandy. His great-grandfather, Jeremiah Sandy, in the early fifties, entered a tract of land in Union township on which the town of Sandyville was built and which was named for him. Clyde B. Sandy was reared and educated in Warren County. After completing his elementary education, he attended Indianola high school and Simpson college. He married Lela B. Flesher March 22, 1905. Born at Palmyra Nov. 25, 1885, Mrs. Sandy is the daughter of Solomon A. and Latetia B. (Jamison) Flesher. The Sandys have three children: Dorothy L., born Jan. 16, 1907; William, born Feb. 24, 1911; Paul C., born June 24, 1918.
Mr. Sandy is a member of the board of education at Sandyville. He belongs to the Farm Bureau, and in politics he is a Republican.
