DONALD SCOTT NOBLE
Donald Scott Noble, farmer of Indianola, was born March 1, 1896, son of Ross and Effie (Delia) Fisk Noble. He attended Maple Grove school, Indianola high school, and Iowa State college for one year. Lillian Ruth Jenner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenner, became his wife Sept. 29, 1926. She was born on the farm southwest of Indianola Nov. 26, 1903. Mr. and Mrs. Noble have two children: Elizabeth (Betty), born Dec. 8, 1934, and William Arthur, born Dec. 9, 1936.
Mr. Noble is a veteran of World War I. He gives his support to the Republican Party. The Nobles belong to the Presbyterian Church. The Nobles live on the farm where Mr. Noble was born, 41/2 miles northwest of Indianola. Mr. Noble's grandfather, Dr. Hezekiah Fisk, was one of the pioneer physicians of Warren County and had much to do with giving the early community its slant toward education and the better things of life. He volunteered for service at the outbreak of the war between the states and was killed in the service.
