MARION CLARK NICHOLLS
Marion C. Nicholls, farmer of Palmyra Township, was born on his father's farm northeast of Indianola Nov. 1, 1918. He
is the son of George H. and Martha Esther (Keeney) Nicholls. He is the grandson of Cyrus Nicholls and Frank Keeney.
Marion C. Nicholls graduated from the Indianola high school in 1936 and from Iowa State college at Ames in 1943.
Feb. 25, 1945, he married Eleanor Margaret Andrew, daughter of Hillis and Audrey Andrew. Mrs. Nicholls was born on the farm southwest of Indianola Oct. 22, 1922. Mr. and Mrs. Nicholls have two sons: Robert Steven, born Jan. 2, 1947, and James Kenton, born Sept. 19, 1950.
Mr. Nicholls is a member of the Farm Bureau and the Warren lodge at Indianola. During World War II he was in the naval reserve. Mr. and Mrs. Nicholls belong to the Methodist Church.
