RAY E. MILLS
The Rev. Ray E. Mills, minister of the Methodist Church at Carlisle, was born at Greenville April 4, 1924, the son of Ross H. and Pearl F. (Barglof) Mills. The Rev. Mr. Mills received his early education in the public schools of Greenville. He continued his education and graduated from the Commercial Extension Business school in Omaha, Simpson college, Garrett Biblical institute and Northwestern university.
Sept. 17, 1949, the Rev. Mr. Mills married Ruth E. Missal, daughter of Leo and Elizabeth Missal. Mrs. Mills was born at Michigan City, Ind., Dec. 25, 1924. The Rev. and Mrs. Mills have a son, Ross Mark, who was born May 4, 1951. In 1951 the Rev. Mr. Mills became pastor of the Methodist Church of Carlisle. He also serves the Methodist church of Palmyra. He states that he is an independent in politics. His political support varies as to candidate and party platform.
