MILES NATHAN MILLER
Miles Nathan Miller, carpenter at Carlisle, was born in Lacona March 25, 1889, the son of Jacob and Liza Miller. He attended elementary school and one year of Bible school. He married Icel Mae Mitchell, daughter of Milton and M. Adela Mitchell Jan. 1, 1913, Mrs. Miller was born at Lacona March 13, 1892, on the farm her grandfather homesteaded. The Millers have three children: Miles Gerald, born Jan. 6, 1915; Dora M., born Jan. 19, 1919; Mitchell Dean, born Aug. 26, 1929.
Mr. and Mrs. Miller are new residents of Carlisle. They lived at Liberty Center 14 years, where they were active in the Methodist Church. Mrs. Miller was Sunday school superintendent three years and taught a class. She was president of the Woman's Society of Christian Service. Mr. Miller was Sunday school superintendent two years. In their political convictions the Millers are Republicans.
