JORDAN FERRALL METCALF
J. F. Metcalf, gas and oil distributor of Indianola, was born in Union Township, Warren County, Jan. 2, 1900. He is the son of William C. and Laura (Spurgin) Metcalf. July 16, 1923, he married Mildred Imogene Blades, daughter of Ernest Elmer and Myrtle Jane (Fisher) Blades. Mrs. Metcalf was born Jan, 11, 1901, at Decatur City. The Metcalfs have three children: Jordan Ferrall Jr., born Nov. 2, 1924; William Ernest, born June 20, 1930; Gloria Imogene, born July 20, 1933.
The Metcalfs worship in the faith of the Methodist church. Mr. Metcalf is fraternally affiliated with the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. Their political ties are with the Republican party. Mr. and Mrs. Metcalf live at 706 North Buxton, Indianola.
