SIMON ELONZO KNOUSE
Simon Elonzo Knouse, son of Franklin and Etta Knouse, was born in Milo Nov. 14, 1892. He married Daisy Hines Feb. 27, 1911. Mrs. Knouse was born at Milo. On Aug. 29, 1894, the daughter of Wallace and Emma Hines. Mr. and Mrs. Knouse have two children - Franklin, born Feb. 12, 1920, and Edith (Ball), born March 17, 1915.
Mr. Knouse is a stock buyer and lives at Milo. For a time he farmed in or near Warren County, and for 15 years he lived in South Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Knouse are members of the Christian Union Church and they have been very active in the work of the church. Their son, Franklin, is a minister, and their daughter, Edith, married a minister. Mrs. Knouse has taught a Sunday school class for 18 years. In his political convictions Mr. Knouse is a Democrat, while his wife is a Prohibitionist.
