BENJAMIN FRANKLIN HULL
B. Franklin Hull, general insurance agent, was born at Maquoketa March 11, 1899, the son of Franklin A. and Ida A. Hull. Mr. Hull attended Iowa State college at Ames where he graduated in 1924. Later he did graduate work in education at the State University of Iowa and at Colorado State College.
June 1, 1926, he married Faye Elizabeth Andrews, daughter of Alvah Austin and Callie A. Andrews. Mrs. Hull was born at Sewal June 26, 1906. Mr. and Mrs. Hull have two daughters: Ernestine Elaine, born Nov. 9, 1927, and Harriet Irene, born May 19, 1934.
Mr. Hull served in the infantry during World War I. Following his graduation from Iowa State college, he taught vocational agriculture in high schools for about 20 years. From 1944 to 1948 he was farm planner of the U. S. Soil Conservation service in Warren County. Mrs. Hull has charge of the registrar's office at Simpson College.
Mr. Hull is affiliated with the Masonic order and is at present grand master of Warren lodge. Mrs. Hull is worthy matron of the Indianola chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Mr. Hull belongs to the American Legion, and Mrs. Hull is a member of the Monday and Q.C. club. The Hulls worship in the faith of the Methodist church and their political ties are with the Democratic party. Mr. and Mrs. Hull live at 302 East Ashland, Indianola.
