CHARLES B. HYLTON
RALPH HYLTON
WYNN HYLTON
Charles B. and Ralph Hylton, twins, were born Aug. 30, 1891. Their brother, Wynn Hylton, was born February 11, 1893. The three families of these brothers reside on the same section of land, close to that on which their grandfather, Nathaniel Hylton, settled in pioneer days. Ralph was a World War I veteran. All three have held responsible offices in Virginia Township, as did their father, Jekiel Hylton. It is thought by many that he served the longest time as trustee in this township.
Wynn's wife, the former Mary Maxwell, a daughter of a Methodist minister, carries much of her father's zeal and energy in her church work. The Wynn Hyltons were married June 6, 1936. On March 30, 1918, Ralph married Desa McClung. Two children were born to them, Dean and Eleanor. Oct. 16, 1916, Charles married Laura Lathrum. Two daughters were born to them, Gwenith and Edith.
The twin brothers, Charles and Ralph, both held township offices. Charles now has under construction a new residence across the road from his twin brother's home. Wynn is remodeling and modernizing his home. The Hyltons are Republicans and the Methodist Church is their religious preference.
