GUY BENTON HORNADAY
Guy Hornaday, farm machinery and automobile dealer at Indianola, was born at Milo Oct. 27, 1912. He is the son of Hugh and Clara Blanche (Guy) Hornaday. Mr. Hornaday graduated fro m Roosevelt High School in Des Moines in 1929 and attended Simpson college two years.
May 26, 1934, Guy Hornaday married Fern Winona Nuzum, daughter of C. Samuel and Bessie (Headrick) Nuzum. Mrs. Hornaday was born at Adel Sept. 18, 1912. The Hornadays belong to the Methodist church at Indianola, the Des Moines club, and the Indianola Golf and Country club. Mr. Hornaday is a member of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce and is fraternally affiliated with the Modern Woodmen. During World War II he entered military service in 1943. He is a Republican in his political convictions. Mr. and Mrs. Hornaday occupy a farm home three miles west of Indianola on highway No. 92.
